Departing from The London Eye Pier, you will pick up your lifejackets at the boarding gate before you board the 12 seated RIB. Your seat will be your window to your adventure down the Thames seeing the magnificent sights that pave the way to Canary Wharf. Count the sights as you go past and under the many unique London Bridges, you will see: London Eye, Houses of Parliament, Somerset House, London Bridge, Tate Modern, Shakespeare's Globe, The Gherkin, The Shard, HMS Belfast, Tower Bridge, Canary Wharf, Cleopatra's Needle, St Paul's Cathedral and The Tower of London!
Make sure you have plenty of storage on your smartphones as you will be snapping away capturing these structures and selfies! Or maybe you fancy being film director of your families rocket down the Thames!
Do not fear the ride, you'll be eased into your journey by the onboard friendly team, who will guide you along, giving you fascinating facts and some hilarious wit. General Information
- We think this activity is perfect for those aged 3yrs+
- An adult ticket is required for ages 15yrs and above.
- Sailings are available from 10am - 7pm.
- Handbags, backpacks and rucksacks are all permitted on-board the speedboats. Suitcases or larger items can be left at the Left Luggage facility at Waterloo Station.
- You need to check-in 15 minutes prior to your departure time. All sailings leave on time so as not to impact later departures or passengers.
- If you have a pushchair or wheelchair, please advise Thames Rockets before your trip and they will ensure a member of the team is on hand to look after your property whilst you are enjoying the trip.
- Children under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children under 16 must have a minor disclaimer form filled out prior to the departure by a parent or guardian.
- Unfortunately, mothers at any stage of pregnancy are NOT allowed on board any of our experiences.
- It is mandatory for all passengers to wear one of our industry-standard life jackets. They are very comfortable, and adjustable with sizes up to a 54-inch chest.
Booking and Ticket Information
- When you buy online you will receive an email confirmation and your tickets will follow shortly after.
- Picniq accepts all debit cards, Maestro, Visa and Mastercard as methods of payment. There is no credit card charge or booking fee.
- Online bookings are limited to a maximum of 12 visitors.
- Tickets purchased through Picniq are not refundable. The date of the visit can be amended for a fee of £10 per booking. Terms and conditions apply.
