For budding drivers and car enthusiasts, Young Driver™ offers driving lessons for children aged 10-17yrs. This exciting 30 or 60 minute experience makes a great gift and aims to help develop safe drivers for the future in a safe and fun environment!

Children will experience learning to drive in a brand new dual controlled car, in a dedicated zone created by experts. Instructors are fully qualified and handpicked with the skills to nurture confident young drivers. Lessons include a full 30 minutes behind the wheel and include skills such as braking, changing gear and reversing. Lessons are adapted accordingly depending on a child's experience level.

Young Driver™ sessions are available on Saturdays, Sundays and some weekdays at sites across the country (see full list in the 'read more' section below).

For mini motorheads aged 5-9yrs Young Driver™ have created Firefly. These especially styled 2 seater cars feature independent suspension, disc brakes, twin electric motors and rack and pinion steering - making them drive and handle just like real cars on the road! These sessions last 20 minutes take place on a miniature road set up with junctions and signage! Youngsters can be accompanied by mum or dad or a friend!

Firefly is currently located at the following sites; Bicester, Birmingham (NEC), Bristol Cribbs Causeway, Surrey Kempton Park, Cambridge Babraham Park and Ride, Leeds Church Fenton, Newcastle Racecourse, Manchester Tennis & Football Centre, Liverpool Haydock Park Racecourse, Pentwyn Park and Ride, Newport Football Stadium, Edinburgh Royal Highland Centre.

To help keep customers and staff safe, Young Driver™ have made some changes to the way in which they operate, in line with government advice. These include revised check-in procedures to avoid close contact or queues, hand sanitising equipment on-site and in-car, and PPE.
