Go on a journey beneath the waves at SEA LIFE Hunstanton. Adventure around Norfolk's only seal sanctuary and marvel at over 2,000 magnificent creatures from across the globe including jaw-dropping sharks, a giant Green Sea Turtle, and playful otters. The amazing Ocean display is home to over 30 amazingly different species of fish and our majestic Green Sea Turtle, Ernie!

Dive in and discover the interactive themed zones where you'll encounter some of the world's most incredible animals, including huge sharks, sassy seals, mysterious stingrays, playful penguins, seahorses, thousands of tropical fish and much, much more.

Get ready for the hilarious Penguin Beach! Learn how to waddle with the charming colony of Humboldt Penguins and meet the Inca Terns, the birds with excellent moustaches. Walk through their enclosure and watch them glide underwater as you get really close to these amazing birds. Be prepared to be amazed as you come closer than ever before to an astonishing colourful assortment of creatures in the Tropical Reef displays filled with Blue Regal Tangs, Clown Fish and much more.

Meet the friendly creatures of the rainforest ranger area, from giant snakes to creepy crawles, or visit the outside seal enclosure and get a spectacular view from underwater. SEA LIFE Hunstanton is home to Norfolk's only seal hospital & rescue centre, which is open to our visitors. You'll be able to follow the journey of our injured seals through their rescue.

Meet the cheeky Asian Short Clawed Otter- Twix! Get a sneaky peek into his den via a private viewing glass and watch as he plays in his specially designed river enclosure, complete with running stream & diving pool.

Children under 2 enter free.
SEA LIFE Hunstanton features a Pirate Ship play zone for children aged5 to 10 years.
Visitors 15 years and over require an adult ticket.
There is paid parking available at two council operated car parks located at Seagate East and Seagate West.

Accessibility:

A ticket-holding disabled guest can be issued a free carer ticket upon presentation of relevant documentation.
SEA LIFE Hunstanton is fully wheelchair accessible except for the underwater seal viewing window. There are also steps to allow access to the shark and turtle feeding experience platform.
Accessible restrooms are available on site.

Child and Baby Facilities

There are baby changing facilities on site.
You are more than welcome to take a buggy into the attraction, which is fully accessible. There is no buggy storage facility at SEA LIFE Hunstanton.
Kids can enjoy the outdoor Pirate Cove Playground featuring the popular Pirate Play ship. This area is located near the seal pool and otter enclosure and is suitable for children aged5 to 10 years. A beach kiosk overlooking the play area serves drinks and snacks during school holidays and at weekends.

Other Facilities

SEA LIFE Hunstanton operates a strict no eating or drinking policy within the exhibit areas. However, there is a café at the entrance to the attraction looking over the waterfront. Your ticket allows you re-entry into the Centre as many times as you wish on the day of your visit.
There is a well-stocked on site gift shop offering a wide range of souvenirs and mementoes of your visit.

Booking and Ticket Information

When you buy online you will receive an email containing your ticket. Please print your ticket and present it at SEA LIFE Hunstanton on the day of your visit.
Tickets are available to purchase online up to 11.45pm the day before the intended visit.
Picniq accept all debit cards, Maestro, Visa and Mastercard as methods of payment. There is no credit card charge or booking fee.
Online bookings are limited to a maximum of 12 visitors.

By Car
Take the A149 from King's Lynn to Hunstanton. From Hunstanton take the second exit at the roundabout ontoOasis Way(on the sea front). At the next roundabout take the second exit ontoSouth Beach Road. Follow the road to the right ontoSea Gate Road. On the right you will see the council owned paid car park which is the closest parking to SEA LIFE.

Opening Times

Open daily except Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

SEA LIFE Hunstanton opens at either 10am or 11am and closes at either 4pm or 5pm, depending on the season and school holidays.

Last admission is one hour before closing.
