Join Snowy the snowman for an arctic adventure to learn all about the North Pole and the creatures that live there with an interactive trail around the aquarium. Take on challenges and unlock clues as you discover incredible creatures and find the photo ops! Plus, win a prize at the end of the trail!

Dive headfirst into the National SEA LIFE Centre Birmingham for an underwater adventure around the world's oceans! Come face-to-fin with over 2,000 magnificent creatures including the UK's first and only sea otters, Ozzy and Ola!

The fun doesn't stop there though, marvel at the cheeky Gentoo penguins before immersing yourself in the UK's only 360° Ocean Tunnel as sharks, rays, and even a giant green sea turtle swim around you!

This underwater world is filled with family-fun, cheeky personalities, and a wealth of information for you and your little ones to discover! If you're feeling adventurous, head to the interactive rock pool where you can learn about marine life and even stroke a starfish!

Important Information

General Information

Children under 3 enter free.
Visitors 18 years and over require an adult ticket.
There is no on-site parking at SEA LIFE or LEGO® Discovery Centre Birmingham, which is in the city centre. The nearest car park is Q-Park Brindleyplace.

Accessibility:

A ticket-holding disabled guest can be issued a free carer ticket upon presentation of relevant documentation.
SEA LIFE and the LEGO® Discovery Centre are wheelchair accessible.

Baby Facilities

There are baby changing facilities available at both locations.
The aquarium is fully buggy accessible, although does not have a buggy storage facility.

Other Facilities

There is no on-site café, restaurant or picnic area. Please do not bring food or drink to the aquarium.
The on-site gift shop offers a wide range of gifts and souvenirs.

Booking and Ticket Information

When you buy online you will receive an email containing your ticket. Please print your ticket and present it at SEA LIFE Birmingham on the day of your visit.
You do not need to book a time, simply turn up on the date you select and you'll be put on the next available timeslot.
Tickets are available to purchase online up to 11.45pm the day before the intended visit.
Picniq accept all debit cards, Maestro, Visa and Mastercard as methods of payment. There is no credit card charge or booking fee.
Online bookings are limited to a maximum of 12 visitors.
Tickets purchased through Picniq are not refundable. The date/Time of the visit can be amended for a fee of £10 per booking. Terms and conditions apply.

By Car
Exit the M6 J6 or M5 J3 and follow signs for the city centre and the Arena Birmingham. The National SEA LIFE Centre is well signposted on main routes into the city.
The nearest parking is at Brindleyplace. Please note if travelling by car that dropping off is not permitted within Brindleyplace.

By Train
The nearest train stations to SEA LIFE and LEGO® Discovery Centre Birmingham are Birmingham New Street and Birmingham Snow Hill. Upon exit, follow the signs for the ICC (International Convention Centre) and the Barclaycard Arena.

Sundays and peak dates 10am to 4.30pm
Monday to Thursday off peak dates 10am to 4pm
Fridays 10am to 4pm
Bank holidays and super peak dates 10am to 6pm
Last entry is one hour before closing
