Bournemouth's PierZip is the world's first pier to shore zip wire! Zoom across Bournemouth's shoreline from the height of 25m above the sea to the sandy beach on this 250m journey!

Thrill-seekers and beach lovers will enjoy this unique experience, which is the perfect opportunuty to take in amazing panoramic views of Bournemouth and it's stunning coastline! Plus, the dual zip line means you can take on this adventure with friends and family, challenging each other in a race to the bottom!

Surf over the waves and feel the breeze in your hair before landing on the soft sand below. This experience is a must-do for those visiting Bournemouth Beach.

With different ticket options available, you can choose from a single rider experience or a dual rider experience.

Important Information

Minimum Participant Height: 1.3mtrs

Minimum Participant Weight: 30kg*

Maximum Participant Weight: 120kg**

*A minimum weight requirement is strictly enforced, and all riders must be 30 kg or over in order to ride. This limit may INCREASE at any time should adverse wind or weather affect participant safety. No exceptions can be made at any time.

**A maximum weight requirement is strictly enforced, and all riders MUST not exceed 120 kilograms. The maximum weight limit may DECREASE at any time should adverse wind or weather affect participant safety. No exceptions can be made at any time.

Footwear must have a closed heel and toe and MUST be worn.
All jewellery must be removed or taped.
Pockets must be completely empty during activities, including mobile phones. This includes pockets with zips.
Long hair must be tied.
You may bring items that can be securely attached to your person at the wrist, and inspected by an instructor prior to ascending the zip tower (i.e. GoPro cameras, Selfie sticks).
Anyone who is deemed to be unfit to ride by any team member (intoxicated, unwell, injured) will be asked to leave at any time with no refund issued.
Riders under the age of 16 must be collected and returned to the “pierzip” base by an adult aged 18 or over from the “Pierzip” landing area.
Wet clothing is not permitted, as well as swimwear, skirts or dresses.
Picniq accept all debit cards, Maestro, Visa and Mastercard as methods of payment. There is no credit card charge or booking fee.
Online bookings are limited to a maximum of 12 visitors.
Tickets purchased through Picniq are not refundable. The date of the visit can be amended for a fee of £10 per booking. Terms and conditions apply.

Rockreef is located on Bournemouth Pier. From the A338 Wessex Way follow the brown signs to the beaches or Bournemouth International Centre (BIC).

The closest railway station is Bournemouth Train Station – 1.5 miles away

The closest pay and display car parks are just a few minutes walk. Bath Road North & South Car Parks – 0.2 miles, BIC Car Park – 0.2 miles, Winter Gardens Car Park – 0.3 miles, Beacon Road Car Park – 0.3 Miles, Eden Glen Car Park – 0.3 Miles.
