Set in an authentically-created historic quayside of the 1800s, The National Museum of the Royal Navy Hartlepool will captivate the minds of all of the family as you travel through Britain's story of the Royal Navy and its rich maritime heritage.

Experience Fighting Ships, a powerful insight into the tough lives of sailors from around the time of Admiral Lord Nelson and the Battle of Trafalgar. Learn how they were Press-Ganged and conducted their duties throughout the ship, HMS Trincomalee, the oldest warship still afloat in Europe and the jewel in historic quayside of Hartlepool.

Soak up the atmosphere of 19th century life as you make you way around the recreated seaport and discover the different tradesmen, from tailors to printers, brewers and instrument makers who lived and worked in the bustling market keyside.

The Intrepid is the brand new play ship opening this summer, so grab your cutlass, hoist the mainsail and climb onboard for a pirate adventure, look through the telescopes for other pirates, but be careful not to end up walking the plank!

Your ticket is an annual pass and will be valid for 12 months from your first visit.
