This winter, Longleat shines brighter than ever as The Festival of Light returns for its 10th spectacular year - with a brand-new theme, “British Icons with Wallace & Gromit and Friends!”
Embark on a grand day out this Christmas as you journey through glowing lantern displays inspired by beloved British characters, landmarks, and legends. Meet Wallace & Gromit, Shaun the Sheep, and friends brought to life in breathtaking light installations - alongside iconic sights like Tower Bridge, Stonehenge, Blackpool Pier, and even a magnificent Welsh Dragon!

Your ticket includes:
- The Festival of Light at Longeat
- Festive themed attractions including the Enchanted Christmas Tree Show
- On-foot animal attractions including Animal Kingdom, Koala Creek, Jungle Cruise, The Bat Cave, and Family Farmyard
- Main Square adventure attractions including Adventure Castle, Rockin' Rhino, Jungle Cruise and the Hedge Maze.
- The Festival of Light ticket is available for purchase online up until 11:45pm the day before the intended visit subject to availability. However we anticipate tickets for peak dates to sell out well before this.
- Children under 3 go free but do require a ticket.
- The lanterns are switched on at around 4.30pm each day and are outside so please wrap up warm. This will be slightly earlier in December and January, where light levels will be lower earlier in the evening.Please note, select Main Square attractions, such as the Lorikeet Aviary, Boat Safari, Adventure Castle and The Hedge Maze, will close before the Park does, according to light levels, from 3.30pm according to light levels. These attractions are not open in the dark.
- Animal Adventure will close from 4pm according to light levels.
- Last entry to the safari drive-through is 2:00pm
- The Santa Train, Longleat House are not included with your ticket and will need to be booked separately.
- Longleat currently only accept debit card/credit card/smartphone payments at their catering areas and shops.
- Anyone able to provide proof of a disability is entitled to bring a carer free of charge, simply select your Carer Ticket.
- Some activities may incur additional charges.
- Online bookings are limited to a maximum of 12 visitors.
- Picniq accepts all debit cards, Maestro, Visa and Mastercard as methods of payment. There is no credit card booking fee.
- Tickets purchased through Picniq are not refundable. The date of the visit can be amended for a fee of £10 subject to availability and if Picniq are contacted prior to the visit date. If you make contact on or after the intended visit date we will be unable to change or refund your ticket. Terms and conditions apply.

Longleat Safari & Adventure Park is just off the A36 between Bath and Salisbury (A362 Warminster ‐ Frome road).
From the South East: M3 (J8) ‐ A303 ‐ A36 towards Bath ‐ Longleat is just off the A362 between Warminster and Frome.
From the South West: A303 in a London direction ‐ A350 towards Warminster ‐ A36 towards Bath ‐ Longleat is just off the A362 between Warminster and Frome.
From the North: M4 (J18) ‐ A46 towards Bath ‐ A36 towards Salisbury ‐ Longleat is just off the A362 between Warminster and Frome

By Train
Warminster station, is about 5 miles from Longleat and is on the Cardiff to Portsmouth line.
Westbury station is about 12 miles from Longleat and is on the London Paddington to Penzance line.

The lights switch on at 4:30pm in the evenings and run until approximately 7pm. Most of the food outlets are shutting by this time, so it's important to know as this means it does tend to close earlier than many of the other light trails. All-in-one Tickets give you access to the Park and The Festival of Light from opening until 7pm.
