From 17 Oct - 1 March 2026, experience the brilliance of the Italian Renaissance through an exhibition of masterful drawings - the widest-ranging exhibition of Italian Renaissance drawings in 50 years to be staged at The King's Gallery. This collection brings together this transformative artistic era, exploring drawings by some of history’s greatest artists, including Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael, and Titian.
Step inside The King’s Gallery at the Palace of Holyroodhouse and explore an ever-changing collection of art and treasures from the Royal Collection. Housed in a beautifully restored 19th-century building beside the Palace entrance, the gallery showcases world-class exhibitions of paintings, photographs, and royal artefacts - often featuring works by celebrated artists such as Andy Warhol, Cecil Beaton, and more.

You will need to print your eTicket
Your ticket includes:
- General admission to The King's Gallery
- You do not need to pre-book.
- Each eTicket is valid only on the date stated on the eTicket.
- Please print and present your eTicket upon arrival. Visitors will only be issued admission upon presentation of a printed eTicket.
- Under 5s are free and but do require an eTicket.
- eTickets can be purchased online up to 11.45pm the day before the intended visit.
- Picniq accept all debit cards, Maestro, Visa and Mastercard as methods of payment. There is no credit card charge or booking fee.
- Online bookings are limited to a maximum of 12 visitors.
- eTickets purchased through Picniq are non refundable. The date of the visit can be amended for a fee of £10. Terms and Conditions apply.

By car: There is a public car park adjacent to the Palace.
By train: Edinburgh Waverley. The Palace is a 15-minute walk from the station.
By coach / bus: Bus numbers 6 and Skylink 300 stop near the Palace.
Thursday to Monday:
1st November - 31st March: 9.30am - 4.30pm (last admission 3:30pm)
1st April - 31st October: 9:30am - 6:00pm (last admission 5.00pm)
