In the heart of picturesque Kincraig, Scotland, you’ll find one of the largest park-based conservation projects in the county! Highland Wildlife Park is home to 100’s of incredible animals including Scotland’s only polar bears! Come face to face to monkeys, snow leopards, tigers, camels, deer, and the mighty bison, plus so many more to discover inside.

Set amongst rolling hills and ancient forests, you won’t feel more connected with nature anywhere else. Take the whole family on a wild adventure with amazing animal encounters, fun facts, learning opportunities, and conservation activities. Throughout the day, animal enthusiasts won’t want to miss the engaging talks and tours from dedicated keepers that bring you closers to the zoo’s conservation efforts.

Enjoy the drive-through reserve from the comfort of your own car, and then explore the rest of the park on foot where you’ll discover the amazing biodiversity of present-day Scotland such as the red squirrel, wildcat, and majestic red deer, as well as fascinating creatures that once roamed the Scottish landscape, including wolves, lynx, and wild horses on a journey back in time.

On a warm summer’s day, enjoy a picnic outside in the lush landscape surrounded by scenic beauty, and let the little explorers run wild in one of the play areas. While the café area undergoes exciting renovations, indulge in delicious food from the outdoor food trucks and kiosks. Then, head to the gift shop for a souvenir before you leave!

Exciting encounters and wild experiences await at Highland Wildlife Park. Take the whole family on an adventure they won’t forget where there is something for everyone to see, and the opportunity to connect with the animal kingdom like never before.
