Highland Wildlife Park is home to 100’s of incredible animals including Scotland’s only polar bears! Enjoy the drive-through reserve from the comfort of your own car, and then explore the rest of the park on foot where you’ll discover the amazing biodiversity of present-day Scotland such as the red squirrel, wildcat, and majestic red deer, as well as fascinating creatures that once roamed the Scottish landscape, including wolves, lynx, and wild horses on a journey back in time.
On a warm summer’s day, enjoy a picnic outside in the lush landscape surrounded by scenic beauty, and let the little explorers run wild in one of the play areas. While the café area undergoes exciting renovations, indulge in delicious food from the outdoor food trucks and kiosks. Then, head to the gift shop for a souvenir before you leave!

The park is only 7 miles south of Aviemore.
If you are travelling north on the A9 (Inverness), turn off for Kingussie/Kincraig, and follow the B9152 north.
If you are travelling south on the A9 (Perth), turn off south of Aviemore for Kincraig and follow the B9152 through Kincraig to the Park.
Parking is free at the park.
