You'll lose track of time as you zoom through the 15 exhibition areas, and travel on a family-friendly journey into automotive's past and present. Containing more than 300 historic, rare, and valuable vehicles, there's plenty to see and do to keep the whole family entertained. Mini motorists can race through the trails, activities, and interactive experiences, or play in the car-themed recreation area. There's also a fleet of tiny cars to transport the younger drivers around the car collection.
Motorheads will marvel at some of the most extraordinary vehicles ever built. The collection is home to the extremely rare 1931 Duesenberg Model J, 1 of 8 ever made with a value of over £12 million!
At the exclusive exhibition from Williams Formula 1, you can get up close to the history of F1 with an assembly of used cars, some of which have won championships and have been driven by the racing legend Nigel Mansell!
View the iconic Lamborghini Countach, the vintage 1960 Ferrari 250 GT, and many more classic profiles in sports car history. These distinguished and celebrated cars will rev up memories for years to come.

General Information
- Some events which take place in the Museum are included in ticket entry. Please visit Haynes Motor Museum website for further details on which events are included or excluded with ticket entry https://www.haynesmuseum.org/events
- Only Assistance dogs are allowed within the Museum. Pet dogs are not allowed in the Museum, however, they are allowed outside access at the front and rear of the Museum.
- Café 750 is open daily between 9:30am - 4pm close to the entrance to the Museum which includes a large indoor and outdoor seating area, serving a variety of grab and go food, The Museum also serves a selection of beverages including hot and cold drinks as well as barista style coffee.
- The Museum has a picnic area located by the outdoor play area. Please note picnics cannot be consumed in the cafe.
- Car parking is free and within a short walking distance of the Museum entrance.
- The Museum has 4 brand new electric vehicle charging points located to the side of the Museum. There are 8 sockets available, all 7kW. You can use the Pod Point App to find out more about each charging point.
- The Museum is fully wheelchair accessible and it is possible to hire either mobility scooters or wheelchairs. Pre-booking is recommended to reserve these. Call the Museum team on 01963 440804.
- You are welcome to take photographs during your visit which are taken for your personal use.
- The Museum has baby changing facilities in the reception/foyer area and within the Museum.
Booking and Ticket Information
- When you buy online you will receive an email containing your ticket. Please present on your smart phone on arrival on the day of your visit, alternatively, you can print and bring with you.
- Discount is based off of the on the day rate.
- The Haynes Motor Museum admission ticket is available to purchase online up to 11:45pm the day before the intended visit.
- Children under 4 go free.
- Concession tickets include senior citizens (65 years+), students, Armed Forces and Blue Light cards.
- ID may be required on arrival at the Museum as proof of eligibility for concession and carer tickets.
- Each Picniq ticket includes an Annual Pass to Haynes Motor Museum at no additional charge.
- The Annual Pass entitles the holder to unlimited complimentary repeat visits to Haynes Motor Museum (excluding some events) for a 365-day period.
- The Annual Pass is valid for one year from the point that the ticket is redeemed. It is assigned to one person per transaction. These are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be extended.
- On arrival at Haynes Motor Museum, some personal details will need to be taken from one person per transaction made. This is to validate the Annual Pass(es) and for future checks to be made for return entry.
- As an Annual Pass holder, Haynes Motor Museum may occasionally email you updates and news to help make the most of your passes. If you wish not to receive these emails, please let the Museum know at [email protected]
- Picniq accept all debit cards, Maestro, Visa and Mastercard as methods of payment. There is no credit card charge or booking fee.
- Online bookings are limited to a maximum of 12 visitors.
- Tickets purchased through Picniq are not refundable. The date of the visit can be amended for a fee of £10 per booking. Terms and conditions apply.

Directions

Road: The Museum is located in Sparkford near Yeovil, just off the A303 and 30 minutes from junction 25 of the M5. High-profile brown tourist signs from all major trunk roads provide easy-to-follow directions to the Museum. The Museum has 8 charging points in the overflow car park, for those travelling in an electric or hybrid car.
Rail: The main line station at Castle Cary is 5 miles from the Museum, with its high-speed link between Paddington and Penzance. The line also serves a regular daily route between Bristol and Weymouth with regular stops at Yeovil.
Bus: There are regular bus services to Sparkford Village from Castle Cary and Yeovil.
Opening hours are 10am - 5:30pm April to October. The Museum closes at 4:30pm between January to March and October to December.
