Go Ape Cannock, which has the longest combined length of ropes and crossing than any other Go Ape site, offers your little adrenaline junkies the chance to take on a Tree Top Adventure, try out a Forest Segway and, just for aspiring little monkeys, a Tree Top Junior course!
What activities are available at Cannock?
Tree Top Adventure, £33 for 16yrs+, £25 for 10-15yrs, not suitable for under 10's
Set in the tree tops, 'gorillas' (that's you!) will swing, jump, balance and zip across the amazing trails that will take you from tree to tree through tunnels, across ropes and onto nets! Each section finishes with an awesome zip wire that gets your feet back firmly on the ground!
Tree Top Junior £18 flat rate for all ages
Easier and lower than the classic Tree Top Adventure, but just as fun! Aimed at 6-12 year olds 1 metre tall and over. An adult must take part and may supervise up to 8 children, however it is recommended that on a first visit 1 adult supervises just 1 child.
Segway Experience: Adventurers £35 for 1 hour, for riders 7 stone+
Roll along the rugged forest floor for 1 hour taking in the epic vistas on a self balancing electric Segway. 1 adult may supervise up to 3 children.

Cannock Go Ape is located at Birches Valley Forest Centre (not the Marquis Drive visitor centre). Birches Valley Forest Centre is just 2 miles from Rugeley, where Birches Valley road meets Penkridge Bank road.
From any direction, follow the small brown directional tourist signs.
From the M6 or Cannock follow the A460 towards Rugeley. The brown signs with the deer logo direct along the A460 through Hednesford to a left turn onto Station Road by a Chase Car Sales. Immediately you will go over the railway bridge to a set of traffic lights. Turn right onto Brindley Heath Road. After 2 miles you will reach a crossroads, turn right onto Birches Valley. In 2 miles you will reach Birches Valley Visitor Centre.
From Globe Island in Rugeley town centre, take Western Springs Road towards Stafford for 400yards and turn left at the traffic lights, as directed by the brown sign onto Hagley Road. Follow this road, which becomes Penkridge Bank as the houses of Rugeley gives way to the lush greenery of Cannock Chase.
Alternatively, if you are approaching Rugeley from the south or east, use A51 Power Station Road to head slightly north of Rugeley, and at the roundabout to the north of Rugeley with A460, take A460 back towards Rugeley. Turn almost immediately right onto Bower Lane, then after a mile left onto Stafford Brook Road. Go straight over at the crossroads, then turn right at the t-junction onto Penkridge Bank. You will shortly see Birches Valley Forest Centre on your left.
After about 2 miles you will come to Birches Valley Forest Centre on your left! Please be aware, some sat-navs direct you to Chase Golf Club, about 3 miles away. If you end up here, from the roundabout near the Chase Golf Club, take Broadhurst Green Road and follow it as it becomes Penkridge Bank and you will see Birches Valley Forest Centre on your right after about 3 miles.
Due to the rural nature of the locations, postcodes are not always accurate when using sat-nav. Please always check the route it has given you before setting off, and cross reference with a map.
Opening times vary depending on the location you have chosen. For full details and closure dates, please check with Go Ape.
