✨This February half-term not only is the museum opening earlier at 9:30am throughout the week, but they have a brand new musical experience. The Acousatron is a complex, ever-changing soundspace that you can control. Amplify sounds from every day objects and create your very own noise engine!

Discover a fun-packed family day out for kids aged 0-11 at Eureka! in Halifax, West Yorkshire. Explore six different themed zones, all with unique learning experiences and over 400 interactive exhibits designed to inspire curious little mind to interact with the world around them. 

The children’s museum offers both indoor and outdoor play, meaning that it's a great day out for rainy days and sunny ones!

• SoundGarden (Under 5's): This sensory delight will take you through the sounds of nature.

Important Information

• Eureka! The National Children’s Museum is an attraction designed for children and young people aged 0 – 11 and their parents or caregivers. Adults are not allowed to visit without children.
• Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times
• Eureka! The National Children’s Musuem tickets bought through Picniq are for use just on the date booked as a one off visit.
• No alcohol or smoking – anywhere. That includes all buildings and throughout the grounds and is for all cigarettes including vapour or e-cigarettes.
• Please don’t eat packed lunches in the galleries. Please feel free to use one of the lunch areas provided.
• Picniq tickets can not be upgraded to an annual pass.
• Saving based off walk up rate and potential booking fees.
• Picniq accept all debit cards, Maestro, Visa and Mastercard as methods of payment. There is no credit card charge or booking fee.
• Online bookings are limited to a maximum of 12 visitors.

By Car: Eureka! is in Halifax, which is about halfway between Leeds and Manchester. Leave the M62 at jct 24, follow A629 to Halifax, then follow brown tourist signs to Eureka!
