General Information
- Please do not feed the animals and this is to keep the animals healthy.
- No dogs allowed other than assistance dogs (please call prior to visit).
- No cycling, scooters, roller blades or roller skates.
- Please keep children safe, they must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
- Do not go beyond any barriers, climb or stand on any walls or enclosures – remember you are looking into an animals home so please do not bang on the glass.
- Car parking is £4 for the day. You will be given your token on arrival to keep safe until you exit the barrier system on the car park at the end of your visit.
- Opening times 10am - last entry 3pm (Subject to change).
- The land train is currently operating from 10am – 3.30pm.
- You are welcome to bring your own picnic. Outdoor seating is available around the site.
Booking and Ticket Information
- When you buy online you will receive an email containing your ticket. Please present on your smart phone on arrival on the day of your visit.
- Entrance is via our Safari Gift Shop. The turnstiles on Castle Hill are closed.
- Children under 3 visit free but do require a ticket.
- Children under the age of 14yrs must be accompanied by an adult.
- Saving based off walk up rate.
- Picniq accepts all debit cards, Maestro, Visa and Mastercard as methods of payment. There is no credit card charge or booking fee.
- Online bookings are limited to a maximum of 12 visitors.
- Tickets purchased through Picniq are not refundable. The date of the visit can be amended for a fee of £10 per booking. Terms and conditions apply.

Situated on the A461 (Castle Hill) 3 miles from M5 Junction 2. Please note roadworks are taking place on Castle Hill for the Metro.
Access to the car park is via Tipton Road, DY1 4AL. (driving down Tipton Road towards Black Country Living Museum from Castlegate Island, turn left at the traffic lights). Car park is barrier operated and £4 per token to exit.
Rail:
Dudley Port Station 3 miles / Sandwell & Dudley Station 5 miles. Frequent bus service to Dudley from Dudley Port station.
Bus:
Dudley Bus Station is 2 minutes walk from the zoo entrance.
