✨ Calling all Spice Girls fans! It's time to spice up your life with this incredible new exhibition celebrating the biggest girl band in history. Spice Girls at 30 tells the band's story through iconic outfits, memorabilia and merchandise, with audio-visual interactive exhibits and activities. All included with your museum entry! 

The British Music Experience is located in Liverpool's famous Cunard building and delivers a fantastic experience whatever age you are and whatever type of music is your thing!

The British Music Experience will take you on a journey through the ages of British popular music. You will see memorabilia including instruments and costumes used and worn by the fab and famous including; Sex Pistols, Spice Girls, Adam Ant, Adele and of course the Beatles. There are also some original statues from the Brit Awards.

Gibson Interactive Studio 

This fully interactive part of the British Music Experience gives you the chance to learn and play on a whole range of amazing instruments.

Gibson and Epiphone guitars have had a huge influence on British pop music, helping to shape the sound of a nation! Here you'll find electric, acoustic and bass guitars, including Les Pauls, SGs and 335s as well as Roland drums, synthesisers and keyboards!

Regardless of your age or ability, the Gibson zone allows you to learn songs through video lessons. 

​Dance the Decades 

Suitable for all ages, the Dance the Decades Experience brings together 70 years and 12 iconic dance styles in one spacious booth. A virtual teacher is on hand to teach you all the moves that ruled the dance floors of the past and then you can strut your stuff and try it out for yourself.

For the real extroverts, who love to show off their skill, there is a handy phone holder, so you can film yourself tearing it up.

Vocal Booth

Get your voice studio ready in the professional vocal booth, with a selection of songs from over twenty British genres as a professional vocal coach guides you in a range of techniques to get the best out of your voice. 

You can even record your performance on your phone. 

Star Café & Merch Store

The Star Cafe offers a delicious selection of Illy Coffee, specialist teas, cold drinks and snacks. 

The Merch Store is open daily and sells a range of band t-shirts, books, vinyl and memorabilia, with items from all our temporary exhibitions past and present.

The British Music Experience is based in the Cunard Building, Pier Head, Liverpool Waterfront. The main entrance is located on Canada Boulevard, on the river side of the building, opposite the Mersey Ferry terminal.
