23rd January – 22nd March 2026: Don’t Believe the Hype… Uncovering the Artwork of Arctic Monkeys’ Debut Album
This temporary exhibition explores the creation and cultural legacy of one of the most recognisable album covers of the 21st century: Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not, the 2006 debut by Arctic Monkeys, with the exhibition launching 20 years to the day of the album’s release.
Step inside Liverpool’s iconic Cunard Building and embark on an unforgettable journey through the history of British music at the British Music Experience! This interactive museum celebrates the stars and sounds that defined generations - from The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and Freddie Mercury to The Spice Girls, Amy Winehouse, and Adele.
With costumes, instruments, performances, and memorabilia from over 70 years of pop, rock, and soul, it’s an inspiring experience for music lovers of all ages. Explore galleries filled with holograms, audio-visual displays, and hands-on exhibits that bring British music to life.
