There is such an amazing array of animals to see at Banham Zoo. There is an extensive range of Birds, including; Black-Footed Penguins, Chilean Flamingos, Kestrel, Kookaburra, Owls or the brightly coloured Lorikeets. Or if "Big Cat's" are your thing, you have Tigers, Cheetahs and Snow Leopard. Primate fans do not miss out either with; Tamarins, Marmosets and Spider Monkeys to mention but a few. If you like the larger animals there are Camels and Giraffes too. If reptiles and creepy crawlies are your thing, then you are in luck, Tarantulas, Snakes and Cockroaches await you. However, if your more standard farm animal is what you are more comfortable with , then Banham has you covered too with; Sheep, Goats, Rabbits and Donkeys on hand.

General Information
- All children under 16 years of age are required to be always accompanied by a responsible adult
- Banham Zoo is a no smoking zoo, including those using electronic cigarettes or vaping, please use the designated smoking areas as highlighted on the zoo map
- Please be aware the following displays are currently closed due to Covid-19 precautions: Safari roadtrain, Activities and education centre, The Giraffe walkway and top floor of the Giraffe house and Amazing Animals!
- Guests can return to their car during their visit, they just need to show a receipt or booking reference to staff at admissions
- Yes, you are welcome to bring your own picnic to Banham Zoo and we have lots of outdoor seating areas around the Zoo for picnic use
- The attraction is cashless, please ensure you have your bank card with you
- Hot and cold drinks food and snacks are available during your visit from the Pavillion Cafe
- Car parking is free
- Face coverings need to be worn in any indoor areas.
- Single and double strollers are available for hire (£8-£11) at the main entrance. Strollers are available for children age 1-6 years
- Mobility Scooters are available to hire (£10), manual wheelchairs are also available for loan (credit card required for deposit). Please call the park before arrival to ensure availability
- Wi-Fi is available on park
Booking and Ticket Information
- When you buy online you will receive an email containing your ticket. Please print your ticket and present it at the Banham Zoo on the day of your visit. Alternatively, you can show your ticket on your smartphone or tablet.
- Tickets are available to purchase online up to 11.45pm for the next day.
- Picniq accepts all debit cards, Maestro, Visa and Mastercard as methods of payment. There is no credit card charge or booking fee.
- Online bookings are limited to a maximum of 12 visitors.
- Tickets purchased through Picniq are not refundable. The date of the visit can be amended for a fee of £10 per booking. Terms and conditions apply.
