Your ticket includes:
- Tickets includes all-day access to over 40 rides and attractions at Alton Towers Resort.
- CBeebies Land rides, attractions and shows included.
Entry to the new Alton Towers Dungeon is not included in the price of your general admission ticket.
Height restrictions apply to most rides.

Essential Companion ticket ( Carer Ticket )
Essential companion tickets are no longer pre-booked , They are now collected on arrival from the Ticket Sales & Collections desk with suitable photo ID of the named recipient and one of the following accepted documents.
Accepted documentation for Essential Companion tickets
- Entitlement to Disability Living Allowance for children under 16 or DLA/Personal Independent Payments (PIP) for those aged 16-64, either in the form of a letter stating that the benefit has been awarded, or the actual Allowance book.
- Attendance Allowance or Essential Companion's Allowance letter of award.
- Incapacity Benefit books, or a letter notifying the recipient that the benefit has been awarded Incapacity Benefit, Employment Support Allowance (ESA). Disability Student's Allowance (DSA) or DID card (UK Disabled ID Card)
- A valid Blue Badge.
- In the case of visual impairment, a registration card known as the BD8 or a Certificate of Visual Impairment (CVI).
- Credibility’s Access Card with the Essential Companion/companion symbol
All areas of the Alton Towers theme park are accessible to wheelchair users.
Wheelchairs are available for hire on a first-come, first-served basis.
Wheelchair accessible restrooms are available through the resort.

Baby Facilities:
Pushchairs are available for hire.
All toilets include a baby changing area. Private changing and feeding rooms are also available.
High chairs, baby food and microwaves are available in various cafes and restaurants in the theme park.
Other facilities:
There are cafes, snack bars, restaurants, shops and plenty of picnic areas throughout the theme park.
Additional services include locker hire, cash machines and on-site medical services.
Booking and Ticket Information:
You will receive an email containing your gate ready e-Tickets within a few minutes of making your booking.
All customer's on the booking must enter the attraction at the same time
Picniq accepts Maestro, Visa, Mastercard and AMEX as methods of payment, alongside Apple Pay. There is no credit card charge or booking fee.
Cancellations - Tickets cannot be cancelled. 100% cancellation fees apply.
Amendments - Tickets can be amended for a £10 fee plus any increase in cost, all amendment requests need to be received no later than 4pm the day before your visit . Strictly no on the day amendments allowed.

Alton Towers Resort is located between the M1 and the M6 and is well signposted from both motorways. Depending on your direction, the nearest motorway exits are: M1 Northbound - Junction 23a; M1 Southbound - Junction 28; M6 Northbound - Junction 15; M6 Southbound - Junction 16"
Alton Towers Resort is open from March to November.
From November the Festive Season starts and therefore the attractions on offer differ from those during the main season, but offer plenty of festive fun!
Gates open at 10am and close at either 4pm, 5pm or 6pm depending on the season. Closing times may vary at weekends.
